Just heard from a Climate Camp contact :- "Just heard (11.00) that some from the camp have got through the first fence at Kingsnorth and taken their protest inside the grounds of the coal-fired power station. Others have scaled the pylons on the Hoo peninsular." |

Climate Camp Day of Action Update
Midday
I'm getting reports that the Climate Camp Green Guerillas have used part of the outer security fence at Kingsnorth to disable the electric second fence inside.
Thankfully people are adhering to the health and safety briefings they received at camp, as I have not heard of any serious injuries.
I do not know numbers of arrests or how many people have managed to breach the security of the power station.
I also hear that some person or persons have scaled a transmission pylon and hung a banner or banners, perhaps with the intention of disrupting the power supply.
An inflatable and 12 rafts on the Meday have been impounded and their Climate Pirates arrested.
If anyone else has a feed to Climate Camp, please can they post.
