I don’t usually read the financial pages, but somebody told me about this she suggests it is well-argued, concise and gives a strong message.

Have a read.  http://www.guardian.co.uk/business/2009/may/17/larry-elliott-energy-crisis

Recently saw an advert in Guardian Jobs for a climate change manager for a housing association. The job requirements included that the successful applicant must drive and own a car. Does this still count as a 'green job'?

I've seen a requirement to possess "independent transport" before, for a local authority traffic reduction job, but at least that would have allowed motorbikes and motorscooters.
